J noticed my tan. And everyone noticed the fact that I looked relaxed and rejuvenated. Felt it too. Their reaction at receiving their gifts. Lunch. Wow. Promises. How they make one’s eyes light up. I was invited to a coffee by a person who noticed me checking for change and finding none. Kindness abounds.
My mind and body have caught up. Finally. Getting the fireplace ready. Logs loaded up. It’s going to be a cold, cold winter. News that the maid won’t be working her old job any more and news of a new maid who lives closer. A new cava that came highly recommended. Might become a staple.
